O registro de pescadores \u00e9 o processo de alistar os pescadores em um registro que permite que governos e grupos de manejo concedam direitos de pesca, monitorem a atividade pesqueira e regulem a entrada na pescaria. O registro de pescadores est\u00e1 no centro da gest\u00e3o eficaz da pesca. Sem o conhecimento de quem est\u00e1 pescando, os gestores n\u00e3o s\u00e3o capazes de medir com precis\u00e3o a press\u00e3o exercida sobre as pescarias que sustentam o bem-estar e a resili\u00eancia das comunidades costeiras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gerenciamento efetivo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Embora muitos pa\u00edses tenham estabelecido sistemas de registro de pescadores, poucos est\u00e3o contribuindo ativamente para uma gest\u00e3o eficaz da pesca em pequena escala. Por meio do trabalho da Fish Forever com as comunidades pesqueiras e governos locais, descobrimos que as principais raz\u00f5es para isso s\u00e3o:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. os gerentes locais n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso ou capacidade para gerenciar os dados cadastrais.<\/li>

    Direito de pescar<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A abordagem de acesso gerenciado do Fish Forever d\u00e1 privil\u00e9gios de acesso exclusivo para pesca em \u00e1reas definidas para pescadores benefici\u00e1rios que est\u00e3o em conformidade com os regulamentos de pesca e est\u00e3o participando de atividades de gest\u00e3o e conserva\u00e7\u00e3o costeira.
