Measuring Success
Fish Forever is all about the data, including the data we use to hold ourselves to account. By 2022, we aim to reach 10 countries and 1 million fishers, to protect 32 million hectares of coastal habitats, and to secure 500 local government commitments for fisheries reform.
Beneath these big picture goals, we have a series of metrics that ensure we are constantly learning and adapting to the reality of the areas where we work. We keep track of community actions, knowledge, and perceptions. In addition, we measure economic demands on fisheries and responses to these demands to identify patterns and drivers of change.
