At Rare, savings clubs act as a steppingstone for rural&nbsp;communities to the formal economy, facilitating adoption of&nbsp;sustainable financial behaviors to prepare households to&nbsp;engage with financial institutions.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first Rare savings clubs were introduced by Fish&nbsp;Forever&nbsp; in the Philippines in 2017 to provide small-scale&nbsp;fishing communities access to financial services. Since then,&nbsp;over 700 savings clubs have been established in six countries,&nbsp;reaching nearly 15,000 community members.&nbsp;\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Klub-klub tabungan menyediakan sarana yang membangun masyarakat yang lebih tangguh, yang lebih mampu pulih dari guncangan tanpa harus melakukan praktik-praktik penangkapan ikan atau pertanian yang tidak berkelanjutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagi banyak masyarakat pedesaan saat ini, klub-klub tabungan merupakan perkenalan pertama rumah tangga terhadap metode sistematis untuk menabung, mengakses perlindungan sosial, dan mengakses utang melalui pinjaman.
